Summer has been a great time for family reunions, time with my own family, reading a good book or two, enjoying the sun. In August I went London, England for two weeks to play, visit friends, and learn about Music and Worship at London Bible College for an intensive one-week course. Last year it was Boone, North Carolina for dulcimer; this year London for more understanding about music as it affects church life -- professional development, I think they call it! The theme was this: worship is about God, for God. Sounds simple, but there are ramifications -- such as, worship is not primarily about us.

Thanks for your support of my latest album Lord of the Mountain. One of the highlights of the last three months was the CD release concert with band at the Gateway theatre in Richmond. 'Twas a blast. The review from that concert is on site. The new press reviews have been appreciated and helpful. The CD was chosen as feature CD of the month for August 7-11 by UCB Europe Radio, out of Stoke-on-Trent England, and while I was in England I did a half-hour 'live' interview on radio. The British magazine CrossRhythms puts out a CD bi-monthly issue with a CD and they have put the song title "Lord of the Mountain" on the August-September issue, with an artist profile. I am Feature Artist of the Month at Canadian Christian Central for September. (Check this site out - it's great and they also have a give away for three free Lord of the Mountain CD's!). My latest CD is now available at the worship music site www.goldusa.com. Vision/ Rhema Radio Australia will be playing the new CD on 28 stations down under. This kind of support at home and abroad is great.

I hope to see some of you in the fall with my touring schedule. Here's a verse I'm brought back to over and over - this verse has little to do with the good news above - but it's about attitude and head and heart direction and letting God be sovereign.
