My fifth album, Lord of the Mountain, is now available.

The songs were recorded "live off the floor" with lead vocal/guitar, bass, drums, and grand piano all being recorded in performance together. All the overdubs of violin, dulcimer, mandolin, percussion, extra guitars and vocals were added later to the live feel.

There are 12 songs and 2 instrumentals: 4 Psalm adaptations (Ps. 130, 139, 143, 148), 2 hymn lyrics that are contemporized -- including "O The Deep Deep Love of Jesus," a couple of bluesier pieces that are concert faves, a swing-jazz piece, and some praises to laud the God of creation. There are lots of harmonies, sweet strings and an overall laid back feel. Something very special was captured.

The professional musicians who joined me include 3 notable pianists - Ken Cormier, Bob Murphy and Bill Sample, as well as Miles Hill (bass and main engineer), Graham Boyle (drums/percussion), Jim Woodyard (mandolin), Spencer Capier (violins) and Mary Rush (background vocals). They help to give this CD a clean high quality sound.
