OCTOBER 22, 2009
Thanks to all those who came to the CD release concert on Sat October 17 at St. James Hall, Vancouver. It was a real hoot, a celebration and, from the many emails we've received, lots of reconnections between people who hadn't seen others in awhile. The room was warm and full. We ran out of drink! The stellar band was in excellent form all round. The musos had a great time together - everyone was giving it 100%. The concert was recorded and video'd so look for youtube clips in the next week. Miles Hill - who has played on 5 out of my 6 CD's - came in from Italy a just few days before the show. He has been in Europe for the last year, mainly playing with Van Morrison. In fact, all the band musicians have played with some fab artists, so check it out their links on

The new CD "So Far So Good" is also being very well received. It's important to remember that many of the 19 songs have been remastered, two of them have never been on any CD before, and one is previously unreleased! So on the one hand it's like a 'best of' release but, on the other hand, it's more of a historical document that bears a story. After 25 years in music, I decided to let that history speak for itself. Overall, these songs share the reality of faith lived out on the horizontal level - so it's not a worship album, although several pieces are worshipful for sure.
Please consider making a gift to someone who is less familiar with my music. It's also a way to participate in sharing some memories and songs that encourage faith. The CD reflects that journey, and the cover alludes to the road of life, looking forward and backwards.
Btw, the pic above (from the back cover of the CD) was taken by my wife Jan. God bless.
The art on the CD came from a unique copper plate etching by an artist from Québec City
Jean Cencig. I met him in the 1980's on the famous Rue du Trésor. Merci beacoup Jean!
The CD design was meticulously created by Ben Friday of Nanaimo, BC. Friday Photo Design. It was really cool to see how art from the east meets the west over the digital domain.
