Parmer Books' Collector BookStacks™ comes complete with 'stack' interfaces for your Book Inventory, Want Lists, Purchase Orders, and Book Dealer Address List. The System will create lists of what you have and lists of what you want.

Managing your collection has never been so easy. This comprehensive, easy-to-use, low-cost software runs on any Macintosh with at least 4Mb of RAM and an 80Mb hard drive.* BookStacks™ is built on Apple Computer's HyperCard® application.

One. Easy to Use.

Parmer Books' collector BookStacks™ is a powerful hyper-text database developed using Apple® Macintosh Hypercard® application software. It's economical, flexible and easy-to-use. It's designed to help you manage your valuable collection just as we've used the dealer version to make our business successful.

Clicking the mouse cursor on buttons simplify routine tasks:

• "Write Want List" to create a list of books needed for your collection.
• "Enter New" to add a book to your collection inventory.
• "Report" to make a list of your collection.
• "PO" to create an addressed purchase order to your favorite dealer.
• "Catalog Req" to create a catalog letter of request.

Two. Simple Design.

BookStacks™ is a collection of Hypercard stacks designed for the management of book inventory, book wants, list generation, purchasing, dealer records and correspondence. It includes addresses, inventory, Purchase order, shipping labels and want list stacks.

Three. Full Featured.

The address stack can also be used to print selected address labels. It also sends a dealer name and address to a purchase order form. It creates a data file for use in producing multiple personalized form letters in Microsoft Word®.

The collection inventory stack maintains complete records of your books' cost and value. You can develop lists containing a full description of each book or describe a single item. From this stack you can export a text file containing the descriptions of books. All marked cards can be exported to a text file ready for page layout or word processing.

The purchase orders created by Collector BookStacks™ includes two copies, a vendor notice and a file copy.

The wants stack lets you keep a record of your wants and make lists to send to book dealers.

Four. Communicative.

Are you now using an existing database? No need to retype all that data. BookStacks™ will import your data from a tab delimited and return terminated file.
