LEMON CRACKS 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed 1 egg 1 tbsp. grated lemon rind 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda Granulated sugar Cream butter and next two sugars. Beat in egg. Add lemon rind and juice. Stir flour, baking powder and baking soda together and add. Mix well. Shape into balls. Roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in 350F oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
