SANDKAKER (Mom's recipe) 1 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened 3/4 cup granulated sugar 1 egg, beaten 1 tsp. almond extract 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour Cream butter and sugar together. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill overnight. Press pieces of dough quite thinly into greased Sandkaker tins. Bake at 350F for 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from forms while still warm by tapping edge of form against table top. Makes about 3 dozen tarts.
