WHIPPED SHORTBREAD COOKIES 1 cup soft butter (not margarine) 1/4 cup corn starch 1/2 cup icing sugar 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour. Place butter in bowl. Sift in other ingredients. Mix well with electric beater at low speed until blended. Turn to high speed until dough resembles whipped cream. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 325F for 20 minutes.
