Geez, where do I start? I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada (home of the Calgary Flames NHL team, Calgary Stampeders CFL team and the greatest outdoor show on earth, the Calgary Stampede -- YEEHAW!). I moved to Victoria, on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia , about seven years ago.

I'm in my 30s, and work full-time as an executive assistant with the provincial government.

I have the most GORGEOUS daughter in the whole world, named Tiana. She was born March 26, 1994, and came into my life through adoption on May 10, 1994.

In my spare time (note that I don't have a whole lot of it with a toddler in the house), I enjoy dabbling in all kinds of 'crafty' things, like sewing, making jewelry and other odds and sods, and have just made an attempt at painting watercolor pictures (Monet I'm not, though I wish I was!). I'm also a collector of sorts -- music boxes, key chains and magnets abound in my house! I even attempt to play the piano -- again, definitely an amateur!
